Shaping Futures Foundation will focus on executing projects in 2023 to secure 24/7 access to clean and renewable energy, internet, computers, and curriculum to help improve educational outcomes for children and young people in Zanzibar. We have identified two educational project sites for 2023:
Watoto Wetu (Our Children ⇔ Our Gift), a non-profit organization created for the development of education for impoverished and unhoused children in the region of Njombe, Tanzania, Africa.
ZASO, a non-governmental organization primarily concerned with AIDS Orphans with the aim of supporting them physically and morally so they can live a decent life.
will partner with local and international educators to ensure children and youth can realize their full potential by expanding their talent through academics and vocational classes. We will provide curriculum in support of:
Educational programs that include skills such as plumbing, electrical, welding, shipyard, agriculture, and culinary arts.
Health and nutrition to include proper physical fitness, healthy meals and nutrition education.
Job creation for people in the local communities to include the hiring of support staff, teachers, construction workers, plumbers,
Imparting knowledge and subject matter expertise to aid in the development and training of children and families.
